The history of the construction and the fall of the Berlin Wall is remembered by eyewitnesses of events: one of the organizers of the uprising on July 17, 1953, Hasso Herschel, Berlin Ulrich Feifer and Gizbert Greizo, artist Dmitry Vrubel (author of the picture-symbol "Kiss of Brezhnev and Honecker").

The program uses footage of the chronicle of the construction and destruction of the Berlin Wall, excerpts of the newsreels "Foreign Newsreel" and "News of the Day."
